Metro panel advertising: a guide to station media
If your audience makes a repeat metro journey, station panels can reach them while they wait or walk. The best value is not always the busiest station. It is the station used by the people you need.
What it solves
Use metro panels for recurring commuter contact, office district reach, education, retail, financial services and app awareness. They work well when the audience can read a little more than they could on a road. A panel should support a route plan, not sit alone in a station selected only for name recognition.
What drives the budget
Station traffic, platform or concourse placement, panel size, number of units, route coverage, illumination and duration affect the quote. Ask whether the inventory is on entry, exit, interchange or platform. Those are different moments with different dwell time.
Before you book
- Map the stations around your audience's origin and destination.
- Ask for a placement map and current panel photographs.
- Check that brand rules, artwork size and installation schedule are clear.
- Use simple copy but allow a little more detail than on a roadside board.
